Hiring: Administrative Assistant

EventFund partners with independent promoters and venues, providing upfront financing to help them book more shows and grow their business. Founded by industry veterans and backed by a world-class team of advisors, we are a small and scrappy team working hard to improve the live event ecosystem.

We seek and Administrative Assistant who likes to work hard, learn fast, and wants to eventually grow into a client-facing role.

Initial responsibilities will include:

-Provide clerical and administrative support to company founders; answer phones, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, etc.

-Track event status and KPIs, including ticket sales, profitability, etc.

-Expedite client onboarding, contracting, and account setup

-Ingest and organize data from ticketing companies, promoter partners, and other channel partners

-Interface with remote accounting and legal teams

-Stay abreast of industry trends, research potential promoter, venue, ticketing, and channel partners

-Other duties as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

-Passion for live events and music

-Commitment to excellence and a strong desire to learn and grow

-Honest, friendly, flexible, and collaborative

-Hyper-organized and process oriented

-Familiarity with Microsoft Office & G Suite (including Excel / Sheets)

-Familiarity with productivity software (Trello, etc.)

-Familiarity with accounting principles (or a willingness to learn)

-Familiarity with basic contract law/concepts (or a willingness to learn)


-Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience
